Fans of Kendra Wilkinson’s reality show, Kendra on Top, now at its third season, which documents the aftermath of a cheating scandal involving her husband of 5 years Hank Baskett and transgender model Ava London, know that she’s yet to consider divorcing Hank for what he did to her.

If anything, after the initial shock, she became very supportive of him because she decided that her marriage was worth saving. An important part in this decision was played by her conviction that London’s claims and all those media reports about what went down between them weren’t true.

The leak of an audio recording hinting at the contrary is making her second-guess her decision.

He said, she said

The first signs of trouble appeared earlier this year, when London stepped forward to tell the media that she and Hank had had a “thing” a few months earlier, when Kendra was 8 months pregnant with her second child. He picked her up online.

She gave extensive interviews, offering all the details of their tryst and vouching that he had promised to take care of her financially if she became his mistress – and then trying to buy her silence when he learned that the media had picked up on his affair and would expose him with a damning piece.

London took a couple of polygraph tests, which she offered as proof that she wasn’t lying, that she hadn’t made up the entire story just to leech off Hank and Kendra’s fame.

Kendra, on the other hand, dismissed those in recent interviews, saying the people giving the test to London weren’t even certified. This way, she basically explained her decision to stand by her husband by saying that London was lying – and that the media was too when it ran stories on Hank’s infidelity.

In doing so, she turned the scandal into a he said – she said type of debate, with her obviously choosing to believe her husband. So far, she hasn’t even considered divorce as an option.

Hank did cheat, though

However, last week brought to light a new piece of evidence: a recording of a phone conversation between Hank and London, in which he’s heard offering her money to keep silent if anyone asks her about him.

That’s evidence that he cheated on his wife – and the leak came to shatter Kendra’s confidence and make her reconsider everything in her personal life. Divorce is now an option for her, insiders reveal for People magazine, and she’s expected to discuss about it on the upcoming episode of her show, airing on October 24.

In other words, tune in.

“Kendra goes back and forth [on the divorce]. Everything is unraveling, it seems,” says a spy.

Everything about this scandal is very convenient, probably not true

Everything about this scandal, from the moment London chose to speak up to the perfect timing of the leak of the audio is convenient to the extreme. This fuels ongoing theories that Kendra herself had her PR team fabricate the scandal and that she has London on her payroll.

Hank is the only one who gets a bit of negative media attention, but he will probably recover when London admits she lied. If she doesn’t, all this will go away by itself when Kendra takes him back for good and decides that this chapter in her life is over. Conveniently, expect this to happen on the season 3 finale of Kendra on Top.

Further proof that Kendra has been trying to deceive the public all along is to be found in her interviews to promote the show, which have been inconsistent to say the least.

She started off by saying that she would most likely divorce him for his betrayal, and ended up getting defensive and saying she’d be “dumb” and “stupid” if she left a man who treated her “like a queen,” even if he cheated. Which he didn’t. But if he did, it was probably a mistake. And we all make mistakes. You get the idea.
