If you’re looking for never-ending drama and scandals, there really is no better place to get your fix than in reality television. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett and their troubled marriage are like the gift that keeps on giving in this sense.

Earlier this year, Hank was accused of cheating on his then-pregnant wife of 5 years with a transgender model named Ava London, with London herself backing up the story with the explicit details of their one-time tryst and Hank’s promises of providing for her in the long run, if she promised to never speak to the media about it.

The scandal landed Hank in hot waters with Kendra, but it also provided both of them with a brand new, totally juicy plotline for season 3 of their reality show, Kendra on Top. It also brought to their doorstep another offer in reality TV, and they signed on for the new season of Marriage Boot Camp.

Just when you thought things couldn’t be any better, here comes another shock

So, just when you thought things couldn’t be any better for these two, another revelation comes to shock their marriage to the core: a recording of a phone call between a man sounding an awfully lot like Hank and London, talking about a way to hush the scandal he had already gotten wind of.

Up until this point, Kendra had promoted the new season of the show by defending Hank and explaining why she would be “dumb” to divorce him, seeing how she deemed London a liar who had made up the cheating story just so she could get rich at their expense.

Now that she’s heard proof that the cheating really did take place, Kendra is not so sure she wants to spend the rest of her life with such a man, inside sources reveal for E! Online.

“She has been hysterical,” the tipster claims. “She is just trying to take it all in. Right now she is really letting everything soak in before figuring out what happens next.”

“She is reconsidering the divorce,” another spy adds. “It's an on-going battle. One minute she wants to do it and another she doesn't. She goes back-and-forth in her head about what marriage is supposed to be, through the good and bad, thick and thin, but in light of what has happened it has forced her once again to reevaluate everything.”

So, the same Kendra that was saying last week she would never ever divorce Hank because she was positive there had to be some “mistake” in the reports of his infidelity, has now had a change of heart, because she got the proof she’d been asking for.

Isn’t it all just a tad too convenient?

Let’s back up for a second: Kendra has been promoting the new season of the show with countless TV appearances, in which she went from heartbroken to defensive in relation to her plans about Hank. She started off by crying her eyes out and she ended up by laughing in the face of one reporter, saying she’d be “dumb” and “stupid” if she broke up with a man who obviously treated her “like a queen.”

Add that to the existing suspicion that there never really was any cheating scandal and that it was all made up to boost interest in her reality show, and you might start to wonder – like many others before you – about the convenient timing of the leak of the audio. Not to be too harsh about it, but it came just when people were growing tired of talking about Kendra and her ill-inspired answers in TV interviews.

There is something suspiciously convenient about everything that happens with this couple, in relation to their television show, as if they’re acting out a script that was put down on paper months in advance.

So, if that’s true, Kendra isn’t really “considering divorce” as an option: she’s just leaking stories to feed the frenzy started by the leak of the audio. And she was behind that one, too. If you’re into conspiracy theories, that is.
