Kendall Jenner wanted to be taken seriously as a model and her latest appearance at Paris Fashion Week, the Belmain show, confirms that she’s one step closer to her dream career. E! News caught up with the star at the show and got her to spill some of her tips to stay in shape during the prestigious fashion event.

First things first: the photo attached to this article is of Kendall (she’d rather the world didn’t refer to her as “Jenner” anymore because she doesn’t want people to think she’s riding her family’s coattails to get a foot in the door in modeling) in Balmain.

This is one of the two stunning and very revealing outfits she modeled.

Tips to stay in top shape during Fashion Week

Kendall is naturally tall and lean, and growing up, she even had some issues with putting on weight. However, that doesn’t mean she can stuff herself full of sweet treats or unhealthy food whenever she feels like it, and much less so before Fashion Week in Paris, one of the most important events of the year in the industry.

So the first thing Kendall does in order to make sure she looks her best when she’s modeling clothes from the most prestigious designers out there is to get her fill of detox tea.

“I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea. I have like 12 cups a day,” she says, before adding that she also makes sure she exercises a lot, “I like running. I’ve been trying to get back into it.”

“My beauty secret for fashion week is just getting a good amount of sleep. I feel like I at least need about seven hours, eight hours of sleep to function,” Kendall continues.

People tend to underestimate the importance of sleep and getting the right number of hours of rest per night, even though studies have shown that not enough sleep is linked with weight gain and the inability to shift the extra pounds. Kendall is obviously not one of those people.

Kendall is moving from reality star to high fashion model

When she was just getting started in modeling, Kendal was more often than not mocked for her dreams of one day getting to walk for houses like Balmain, Pucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi or Bottega Veneta, for which she’s already modeled.

Whilst predicting how spectacular her failure would be, haters also delighted in talking about how she was using her family’s influence to score contracts. In case you don’t know yet (though we can’t possibly imagine how this could be possible), Kendall is part of the Kardashian – Jenner family, so she’s half-sister to Kim Kardashian, Khloe and Kourtney.

Even if she didn’t have what it took to be a model, she would have still gotten a few gigs based on her last name only and the kind of media attention it can generate. That was not the case though, and today, Kendall is considered a “proper” model. She definitely talks like one, if you ask us.
