Kendall Jenner wants waitress to retract story claiming she threw money in her face

Kendall Jenner is in a fighting mood. Earlier this week, a waitress and aspiring actress told the media that she had just had the worst experience of her life when the 18-year-old reality star and model skipped out on the bill and then threw the money in her face on the street, and Kendall is now out to spill some blood for the lies told about her.

Even though not a day goes by without some Kardashian / Jenner story out in the tabloids, it seems that Kendall is determined to cut down on the negative ones to the best of her abilities. She’s starting with this one, TMZ reports.

For a bit of context, we should note that Kendall and Hailey Baldwin, Stephen Baldwin’s daughter, went for a bite to eat at the Mercer Kitchen, where Blaine Morris (Betty Nardone from MTV’s “Skins”) works as a waitress.

Morris recalled later that Kendall acted like an insufferable spoiled brat and caused a scene when she was refused alcohol because she’s underage. Then, at the end of the meal, she and Hailey got up and walked out of the restaurant without paying.

Morris said she ran down the street after them and, when she did catch up, she was publicly humiliated when Kendall took out a bunch of banknotes and threw them in her face without apologizing or counting them. Then, she turned away and left.

According to “legal pitbull” Marty Singer, who sent a written notice to Morris, her side of the story has very little in common with the reality: the only thing she didn’t lie about is the fact that Kendall forgot to pay the bill before leaving.

“What actually happened was that the waitress did come up to her outside but Jenner was ‘extremely apologetic’ and gladly paid what she owed – $33 [€24.6], plus a $7 [€5.23] tip... which she ‘politely handed’ to her,” TMZ writes of the letter.

According to the attorney, Morris came up with this scandalous story in a bid to attract more attention onto herself. It seems she picked the wrong girl to drag through the mud, because Kendall is having none of it.

“Although you are working as a waitress at Mercer Kitchen, I understand you are also a struggling actress. You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself,” Stringer writes.

TMZ says Kendall will sue, which probably means this is her next step if Morris doesn’t publicly apologize and issue a retraction in response to the letter.

As you can see in the tweets embedded below, she’s already denied the waitress’ story.
