Reality star calls report ridiculous, totally unlike anything she’d do

The Kardashian and Jenner girls are often criticized as the most vapid women in the industry, but in their defense, they managed to make it this far without getting that dreaded diva reputation. Earlier this week, Kendall Jenner got her first brush with diva reports, when a waitress said she had had money thrown in her face for refusing to serve her with alcohol.

Blaine Morris (Betty Nardone from MTV’s “Skins”) works as a waitress at Mercer Kitchen and she told the press that, one day, Kendall and Stephen Baldwin’s daughter Hailey walked in to grab a bite to eat.

The whole thing turned into a nightmare when Kendall asked to be served alcohol, and because she’s 18, she was turned down. In fact, Morris said, Kendall got so mad that she walked out without paying and she (Morris) had to run after her.

To make matters even worse, Kendall threw a handful of bills into Morris’ face and walked away, without bothering to count the money, let alone to apologize for trying to skip paying.

“That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face,” Morris also said on her Twitter.

Kendall wants you to know that none of that is true and she’s taking to her Twitter to set the record straight. Apparently, there are a lot of lies about her making the rounds and she would want her fans not to believe everything they read in the papers.

“these rumors r absolutely ridiculous! I would never throw money in anyone's face or act that disrespectfully. I was raised better than that,” Kendall insists.

Her biggest problem right now is that, even if she really didn’t throw the money at the waitress, many think her capable of such a thing. She was raised in a family whose main goal in life is making money by being famous, no matter the means, so many of those who heard the waitress’ account thought it very likely that she too is vapid and entitled and disrespectful.

It could be that Morris made up the story to get free publicity, but the bottom line is that no one believes (or only very few do) that Kendall would not act this way in a situation like this. And chances are no amount of damage control will change this perception on her.

Speaking of damage control, right after the rumor got out in the press, Kendall’s publicist issued a statement to confirm some sort of incident had taken place when the girls walked out without paying, because they thought the bill had been covered already.

However, the publicist insisted that Kendall picked up the bill and apologized when the waitress came after her, and that she most definitely didn’t throw money in her face and then turn and walk away.
