14 DAY TRIAL // Kendall Jenner is still trying to strike it out on her own as a model, but that doesn't mean that she's neglecting her social media duties. Trained in the school of media by Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian clan, Kendall knows that success in the industry is only achieved if you remain relevant.
Her latest effort to remain relevant might land her in trouble with the police though. On Instagram, the model posted a video of herself and one of her friends, singing out loud in a car moving through traffic.
So far, there's really not a problem there, because we've all done that at least once in our life when a nice song came on the radio and we were in a particularly good mood. The problem was that Kendall happened to be behind the wheel at the moment the singing took place.
What's worse, the girl decided that it would be fun to act out for the camera, and she and her friend engaged in a mock singing challenge. That meant that Kendall took her eyes off the road repeatedly, to make eye contact with her friend and mouth the words to Avril Lavigne's “Sk8er Boi.”
The model didn't even notice the danger she was putting herself in, not to mention the people in the cars around her. She just captioned the video “being uber girly,” as if nothing wrong had happened.
Granted, the car wasn't traveling at great speeds, but everyone with a license will be able to tell you that it doesn't take much to crash a car even at low speeds. Interestingly, none of Kendall's followers pointed out to the reckless behavior of their idol.
It wasn't even that great a song to begin with, but that's a matter of taste and we won't get into that. The bottom line is that Kendall could use some help with driving or she's likely to end up the next victim in a long lie of celebrities who couldn't keep their cars on the road. Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are premium members of that club and have some stories to tell.
Kendall has also made news recently after complaining that she finds it very hard to gain credibility as a model because of her family's reality show. That is why it is speculated that she's going to try and break off from Keeping Up with the Kardashians after the current season, which she's contractually obliged to finish.
Now, if she'd only hire herself a driver.
