14 DAY TRIAL // It wasn't that long ago that Rob Kardashian was rumored to want to leave Keeping up with the Kardashians in order to focus on his own problems, and now yet another member of the family is looking to cut her ties with the reality series that has put the Kardashians on the map.
Kendall, who is a mere 18 years old but already a successful model thanks to the relentless efforts of her mother, Kris Jenner, is now looking to jump ship and limit her appearances on the reality show. The reason why Kendall is planning on saying goodbye to her family's mainstay is because she wants to make it as a model.
The young Kendall has already done some pretty high end fashion shows, modeling for the likes of Chanel and Givenchy, and now she's looking to go even further into the industry and prove she's got what it takes to become a world famous fashion model.
Although she's quite fresh to the fashion world, Kendall is taking all the right hints, and according to an insider quoted by the Daily Mail, “[s]he has been advised by friends in the fashion industry that reality TV could damage her modeling career.”
The only problem is that Kendall is still bound by a contract to finish filming the current season of the show. But once that's done, there's basically nothing preventing her from quitting reality TV for good. The insider adds that “Kendall had the option to pull out of any other potential shows and that's exactly what she's done.”
There is no word on how mother Kris Jenner is going to take the news, but reports are coming in that her bossy ways are beginning to take their toll on the family. A source close to the family dished on the current developments in Rob's life, “Rob feels that the reality show has truly ruined his family, and that momager Kris Jenner is always on the look out for the next big deal for one of her daughters.”
Kendall might also do well to not cross Kris, who still has the power to make or break her career. She probably won't be quitting KUWTK entirely, but she will be making less frequent appearances as she will tour the world with her fashion shows.
Sadly for the Kardashians, their reality series has been losing audiences by the millions and some experts think that the end of the show is not that far along, despite the best efforts of E! Producers who struggle to come up with new drama to keep people interested.
