14 DAY TRIAL // Kendall Jenner is probably the second most famous member of the Kardashian clan, after her half-sister Kim Kardashian. The main reason for that is Kendall's new modeling career and her good looks. This means that Kendall is now actively pursued by fashion houses for modeling contracts and the 18-year-old is sinking her teeth into the fashion world.
As part of that effort, Kendall has appeared in various states of undress on the catwalk before and was praised for it every time. Perhaps that is why she accepted a photo shoot in which he doesn't wear any clothes, taken by Russell James.
The model is doing racy photo shoots with famous photographers
The photo was later posted on Instagram by her sister Kourtney Kardashian and it looks to be done in an artistic spirit. The shot bears the title “Saturday Muse” and it's said that it will be part of a book called “Angels,” published by Russell.
The book is also said to contain similar photos of other famous models such as Lily Aldridge and Adriana Lima. Russell took to Twitter to thank his models, “@lilyaldridge is an angel in so many ways I don't have enough space on my device. So excited to share our special preview next week. Russelljames.com.” He also added “Thanks so much @adrianalima for being part of my new book. So grateful! See you at the preview this week :)”
The funny thing is that it was Russell who also photographed Kendall last year, when she appeared in her see-through top that exposed her chest. At the time, the photo had a big impact and created quite a stir in the media.
Kendall is following in her sister Kim's footsteps
This revealing shot of Kendall comes just days after her sister Kim posed in a similar manner for GQ Magazine, the British edition. It too was regarded as controversial, although there were voices which pointed out that Kim was trying to get the world's attention back to her after the major celebrity photo leak scandal.
As it turns out, the Kardashians don't have any problems taking off their clothes in front of the camera and posting the photos themselves, as opposed to the rest of celebrities who were affected by the leak and promised swift legal action.
Last week it emerged that Kendall Jenner begged her older sister Kim to not come to her first runway show, so as not to distract people's attention from her. From the looks of things, there is a fierce competition between the girls for attention and media exposure as they constantly try to upstage each other.
