Kendall Jenner Denies Dating Jaden Smith

Kendall Jenner’s 17th birthday was one she’s unlikely to forget anytime soon, for a variety of reasons. One of them would be the rumor that emerged then, that she and 14-year-old Jaden Smith were dating.

Photos from the party Kendall got back home surfaced online and, in one of them, she was seen holding hands with Jaden, Will Smith’s rapper and actor son, as we also informed you at the time.

Despite of the age gap, many were quick to assume that the two were actually more than friends, a rumor that amuses Kendall terribly, as the video here at E! News can confirm.

E! caught up with her on a photo shoot for her and sister Kylie’s fashion line, and she was gracious enough to deny the reports that she and Jaden Smith were sweethearts.

“Oh, you mean that picture!” she laughs when she’s told about the picture that literally went around the world.

“I didn't even see it. I don't remember, I swear. We were holding hands with everyone. It's ice skating. I held Kylie's hand, too,” Kendall says.

“He’s my best friend. He is like my little brother. So funny. Never knew people talked about that,” she goes on to say.

Indeed, the two were only holding hands because they were ice skating. As Kendall says in the E! video as well, she was in Australia when she turned 17, so she first celebrated there.

When she got back home, she wanted a party to mark the occasion here as well, one that would allow her to celebrate with the friends she did not have by her side Down Under.

Her parents, Bruce and Kris Jenner had a backyard pool turned into an ice skating rink, so she and her friends had the best time ever, at the kind of party not many 17 year olds can dream of ever getting.
