14 DAY TRIAL // Simon Cowell gets to be surrounded by women only on the judges panel on the next season of X Factor USA. After L.A. Reid and Britney Spears’ departure, he’s found the perfect replacements: Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio.
Word of these two joining the panel got out in the press hours before Cowell confirmed it for Us Weekly.
In his typical joking manner, he says he’s happy Reid is out of the picture because of all the female attention he’s bound to get now.
“It's taken more than a decade, but I'm delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!),” he laughs.
“Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different,” Cowell adds.
Demi Lovato has decided to stay on for another season. Khloe Kardashian was fired as co-host after just one (disastrous, some would say) season, which means Mario Lopez will probably go at it alone on the next one.
