14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, Kelly Osbourne was rushed to the hospital after having a seizure (initially believed to be just a fainting spell) during a taping of E!’s Fashion Police show. Now, doctors are considering the possibility she may have epilepsy.
Though her rep tried at first to play down reports of a seizure, it was Kelly herself who confirmed them on her Twitter, as we also reported at the time.
She also tweeted a photo of her arm with a drip in it, and said that doctors were still trying to figure out what might have triggered the seizure.
TMZ claims to have it on good authority that she could have epilepsy, which means the seizure was more serious than doctors thought at first.
“Kelly has been hospitalized since suffering a seizure Thursday on the set of Fashion Police. Sources connected with Kelly tell TMZ the seizure was far more serious than first suspected. Doctors are running tests and we're told she'll be in the hospital for at least a few more days,” the e-zine writes.
“We're told doctors say there's a real possibility that Kelly is an epileptic, but it's possible it was an isolated incident. If it's the latter, docs need to figure out what happened and how they can prevent another episode,” adds the same media outlet.
Kelly is said to be on anti-seizure medication while tests are being performed. She’s been off Twitter since she confirmed the episode had indeed been a seizure, so there’s really no way of confirming the above report.
