14 DAY TRIAL // Kelly Osbourne had a seizure during a taping for E!’s Fashion Police and was immediately rushed to the hospital. She’s tweeted to thank her fans for their messages of love and encouragement, and to say that no one knows what’s wrong yet.
As we noted earlier today, conflicting reports were saying that either she had a seizure or she fainted. Kelly’s rep, for one, insisted that it was just a fainting spell.
Turns out that it was a seizure after all.
“Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why?” Kelly wrote on her Twitter, attaching a photo of her arm with a drip in it.
According to reports, before falling out of her chair on the set, Kelly did get to say that she wasn’t feeling well but no one thought too much of it.
The seizure lasted about 30 seconds and, thanks to someone in the audience with experience, she got some assistance on the spot.
When the medics arrived, Kelly was taken to the ambulance on a gurney, covered from head to toe with a white sheet. Another one was used to screen the gurney from whoever might have been taking pictures.
Further details on her condition are not known at this time but, considering that she’s already back on Twitter and Instagram, one could assume that she’s feeling better.
Nevertheless, she will probably be kept under observation for a while longer, until doctors determine what caused the seizure in the first place.
Fans worried about her should not fret: Kelly is an avid Twitter user so she’ll be keeping them up to speed with everything in due time, the moment she finds something concrete.
