14 DAY TRIAL // Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy made magic happen against last night, on the finale of the All-Star edition of Dancing With the Stars. Videos of their impressive supersize freestyle is above in full.
For this round, Kelly and Val chose “Time of Your Life,” made famous in the classic film “Dirty Dancing.” As was to be expected, they also recreated the routine in it.
The dance earned them their biggest scores this season, a near-perfect 29.5, but also incredibly warm praises from the judges.
Bruno Tonioli said, “I love the blend of Circ du Soleil and Dirty Dancing. Your chemistry never shone better [than] tonight. Patrick [Swayze], I’m telling you, is smiling on you.”
Carrie Ann Inaba was also very moved by the performance, with only Len Goodman saying that, while “spell-binding,” the routine lacked originality.
