What with all this Beyonce backlash going on right now, it’s a must that we also remember to smile: for instance, countless media outlets are saying they have discovered the secret to Kelly Clarkson’s ability to sing live when Beyonce only mimed.

Stuffed mushrooms.

TMZ writes that, before the big day, Kelly and her friends dined out and made sure they got an incredible, calorie-laden treat.

“That's right, the night before Kelly rocked the National Mall in front of more than 800,000 people, she and a few friends carbo-loaded at Buca di Beppo in D.C. – and as everyone knows by now, it clearly paid off,” the e-zine writes.

“We're told Kelly and co. feasted on lasagna, bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, half-pound meatballs, spaghetti, chicken parmigiana – and the always delicious colossal brownie sundae... all for a cool $230 [€172.2],” says the same media outlet.

I’d reckon stuffed mushrooms had little to do with Kelly’s amazing performance. That was all her.
