Kelly Clarkson and talent manager Brandon Blackstock got married in a super secret ceremony in Tennessee over the weekend and, judging by photos posted by Kelly on her Twitter page, it was a very sweet and gorgeous affair.

Fans of the original American Idol, as she’s dubbed in the press, knew she’d be getting hitched this fall since last December, when she announced her engagement.

They also knew that good friend Blake Shelton would be performing at the wedding and probably officiating too, though, so far, no word on that last part.

However, every time she talked about her plans, Kelly never mentioned a date, which was an incredibly smart thing to do: had she announced it to the world, she would not have been able to get married without having the paparazzi there.

So, instead of grainy helicopter shots, we’re getting professional photos straight from Kelly: she’s been tweeting since she became Mrs. Blackstock, including photos of her big day.

“I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!” Kelly writes in a post accompanying the photo attached to this article.

“Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress! & thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!” she adds later, on the same social networking website.

The dress was a lace Temperley London design and had a very vintage air about it, which went perfectly with the rustic setting where the reception took place. Kelly accessorized with a simple headpiece and a bridal bouquet made of sunflowers.

The photos she’s tweeted so far show her and Brandon in typical wedding portraits: they’re kissing, hugging, and smiling for the camera. Kelly looks absolutely stunning, and the groom is also very handsome.

Congratulations are definitely in order for the happy couple.
