While performing at the Nokia Theater the other day, the original American Idol, as Kelly is still dubbed in the press, performed a vocally altered version of the Dr. Luke-produced track.

This is not the first time that female singers cover Britney's more recent tracks, which goes to show that she's just as popular among her peers as she is with the millions from around the world who buy her album.
Useless to say, though Kelly certainly didn't aim for it, a debate is now raging about who did more justice to the song: herself or Britney?
