I’ll not look this good forever, glamour model says

Though she’s made a name for herself as a glamour model posing in most, if not all, British lads’ mags, Kelly Brook has also always made it a point that she wanted to be a role model for women, telling them that curves are best, size 0 is not. As it happens, the star also wants to have a career in movies and even if that were to happen on account of her good looks, she would still not mind it, she says for the Daily Mail.

Brook will be seen next in a horror film called “Piranha 3D,” which is shot on board of a yacht, which, understandably, means she’s in her swimsuit most of the time. Asked about how she felt about criticism directed at her for accepting the part, Kelly says she’s well aware her good looks will not last forever, so she might as well make the most of what she has before it’s gone. Also, shooting for an entire movie in a swimsuit doesn’t make her less of an actress, she says.

“If people want to cast me in roles for my body or how I look, I’m just doing to embrace that because that’s not going to be the case forever. It doesn’t make me any less important than anyone else in the movie just because I’m in a bikini. That’s just the role I play. It’s as much a part of the story as the piranhas and everything else,” Kelly says in reference to the part she plays in the horror film, a clip of which was shown at this year’s Comic-Con.

As we also reported earlier this year, Kelly has always been this open about how people perceive her and the work she gets because of her insanely gorgeous body. However, her message has always been clear: all women are beautiful if they learn to see themselves that way. A few extra inches on the waist mean nothing if one is healthy – and this is why Kelly herself would never even dream of starving herself to be thinner. However, she does work out a lot to maintain her figure.

“You need to make what you’re blessed with work for you. It’s so important to learn to love yourself. I look after my body. […] I’m not a binge eater, but I don’t deprive myself of anything. If I want chocolate cake, I’ll have some. There are some actresses who are much too thin – it doesn’t look healthy. I’ve never felt a pressure to look a certain way. I’ve always embraced my curves and my fat bits, and tried to make them work for me. However you’re built, you need to learn to live with it, otherwise it’s torture. I have a really healthy relationship with my body. The love of a good man helps, too,” Kelly was saying back in January this year.
