Britney Spears fans, get ready: very soon, the pop star will be releasing a brand new video, for her third single off the “Femme Fatale” album, “I Wanna Go.” The video is shooting as we speak – but “Twilight” hunk Kellan Lutz did not want to be a part of it. Britney, just like most women out there, is no stranger to the “Twilight” madness, which probably means that she’s also well aware of
how good Kellan looks sans shirt.
The two met a short while ago, and Britney asked him to come and do a cameo in her brand new video, admittedly an offer that only a madman would turn down.
Yet Kellan said no,
E! Online reports.
“Sources confirm that the Twilight hunk was offered to play the pop singer’s steamy boy-toy in the video for her third single, ‘I Wanna Go.’ However, Mr. Lutz politely declined,” E! says.
Let’s just assume his schedule or some binding contract did not allow the collaboration to happen.
“In the video, being shot in L.A. today and tomorrow, Lutz apparently would have rescued Spears from pesky paparazzi before going on to lock lips in the backseat of a car. Oh, said hunky character also turns out to be a robot,” E! says of the story of the video.
Since Lutz turned down the offer, Britney is now boytoy-less, but word online has it that her people have even approached actor Matthew McConaughey and they’re now talking to see how they could nab him.
On the other hand, Hollywood Life says that the new video will be the exact opposite of the song: it has very little action and even less dancing.
What it does have instead is lots of humor and personality from Spears; in fact, the entire video will be about her, as the fans know and love her.
“It’s very personality and action driven. It’s not really indicative of the song at all,” a spy says for the e-zine.
