Kellan Lutz, star of the “Twilight” franchise and the re-imagined “Nightmare on Elm Street,” has always been in excellent shape. However, he seems to have bulked up even more, perhaps in preparation for the upcoming installment of the vampire saga.
Photos of the actor out in LA on his way to the gym have emerged online – and they’re causing quite a ruckus because of his seemingly beefed up physique.
Dressed in a white wifebeater, black shorts and white socks, a cap and with his bag on his shoulder, Kellan cut an impressive figure for the paparazzi.
Since the photos, two which you can also see attached to this article, came out, talk of whether Kellan is beefing up for “Twilight” or another part has been picking up.
Teen Daily believes he’s putting in the extra hours at the gym for the vampire saga, where he’s to reprise his role as Emmett Cullen, the vegetarian vampire.
“Doing his part to stay in top shape, actor Kellan Lutz was spotted making his normal trip to the gym yesterday in Los Angeles. The Twilight actor was spotted in his workout gear with a gatorade drink in hand as he left his local fitness studio,” the e-zine writes.
“Kellan is scheduled to fly out to Vancouver, Canada soon to shoot scenes for the next Twilight film Breaking Dawn, where he plays the macho vampire Emmett,” Teen Daily adds.
One thing is certain, though, his female fans are not complaining.
Kellan is not the only actor on “The Twilight Saga” to go the extra mile when preparing for the role by adding lots of muscle mass to their frame.
As we
also noted before “New Moon” came out, Taylor Lautner did the same to convince Summit to give him the Jacob Black role for the sequel.
At first, Taylor gained about 26 pounds of muscle mass in just nine months. In “Eclipse,” he was even bigger and better defined, which means he worked out more in the gym, thus proving keeping him on the franchise was probably the best decision Summit made.
