Stars on the Red Carpet at the Golden Globe Awards - Keira Knightley Wore $3 Million in Diamonds

- The outfits of the stars were all glamorous and unique this year; as for jewellery, Keira was on top

By: Adina Gheorghe, Entertainment Editor

Keira Knightley made a glamorous appearance while stepping on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards this year, wearing 3 million dollars diamonds. The offset was designed by Valentino and perfectly wore by the 20-year-old British actress.

The earrings alone were
worth 500,000 dollars and a diamond hair clasp was valued by Cartier at over 1 million dollars. Keira also wore a ring and two bracelets.

The beautiful actress was nominated for her 'Pride and Prejudice" role as Elizabeth Bennet. On the red carpet, the teenage sensation was joined by ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Felicity Huffman who was also wearing an off-white colored gown.

Although pregnant, Gwyneth Paltrow was looking more beautiful then ever. Emma Thompson's look was also very correct and pleasant; she dressed up remarkably this time too.

Kate Beckinsale's white dress from the Christian Dior archives was delicate and elegant, though a bit tight-fitting. She showed a bit of a funky streak with her oversized green earrings. She was a unique appearance anyway, especially on the stage, as Miss Beckinsale was a presenter at the awards.

British actress Rachel Weisz, who won the award for best performance by an actress in a supporting role for her part as the wife of a British diplomat in "The Constant Gardener", looked quite voluptuous in her strapless gold gown by Donna Karan, though she is five-months pregnant. While being on the stage and presenting her award, she praised her leading man Ralph Fiennes saying she couldn't have asked to work for a more "magical actor."

Terri Hatcher from "Desperate Housewives" wore a body-hugging V-neck bronze halter gown with art deco-style beading, loose hair and a small bronze clutch, Sarah Jessica Parker was in a strapless dress with tiny rows of tulle by Rochas, while Natalie Portman looked classy in a vintage Chanel black lace bustier dress with a ribbon belt and a black-and-white diamond camellia jewel around her waist.
