Director Joe Wright (“Atonement,” “Hanna”) has turned his attention to the classics in his latest movie. “Anna Karenina” doesn't come out until November, but we have a first trailer for it.

Starring Keira Knightley as the iconic heroine, Jude Law as her husband and Aaron Johnson as her lover, the film is meant to be a bolder, slightly different telling of Leo Tolstoy's novel, “Anna Karenina.”

By the looks of the first trailer, it will also be an extremely visually stunning affair, with word in the press saying that Wright shot most of it on a single soundstage.

Still, the attention to detail is impressive – and bound to make this new take on one of the most touching love stories ever feel like an entirely different experience.

“Anna Karenina” will see limited US release on November 9.
