The beautiful and charming actress, mostly known for her part in the 'Pirates of the Carribean' series, for which she wasn't nervous at all, is now actually afraid of the public's reactions at her latest film. She is concerned about her film stirring negative reactions from the public that loved her so far.
The 21-year-old Oscar-nominated British was never, in all her acting career, scared of taking new roles that challenged the preconceived image people had of her. This she proved by playing former model-turned bounty hunter, Domino Harvey in the 2005 Tony Scott movie, 'Domino'.
Keira is to star next in 'Atonement', directed by Joe Wright, as the bitchy Cecilia from the novel of Ian McEwan. The star said that her character, quote, 'starts out [as a] very catty, acerbic, Bette Davis-esque' woman and that the first impression might be disappointing for her fans. But she urges them to watch Cecilia's evolution with patience, as she grows up and becomes more like the Keira we all know.
The film will be released in 2007 and its plot focuses on the story of two sisters (expanding from the 1930s until the end of the 20th century) whose lives are forever changed by a false accusation.
