Beyonce and Jay Z are still working on their public image after that Solange elevator fight debacle which brought their married bliss shattering down faster than it takes Beyonce to reach number one with a new hit.

The musical couple was spotted on Saturday night, hitting the town as a loved-up pair, doing what people in a marriage usually do. They went out for an evening at the theater in New York City and made sure that they were spotted by the paparazzi, so that the newspapers would comment on their relationship, which has hit some rocky shores most recently.

The play that was being shown at the New York City Theater was “A Raising In The Sun,” and it starred Hollywood heavyweight Denzel Washington in a role that was played by Sidney Poitier when the show premiered on Broadway in 1959.

Beyonce was photographed looking stylish in a wine-colored satin trouser suit, according to Daily Mail. She emerged alone from the theater, and the photo caught her with her mouth open in a smile of excitement.

It seems that Beyonce was keener to keep up appearances than her husband, because she made the effort to look like she had enjoyed herself. The same thing can't be said about Jay Z, who came out alone after her, with a grim look on his face.

He also didn't put too much thought into his attire, as he showed up in navy loose trousers and a matching jacket and boots. His hands dug deep in his pockets, he made no effort to crack a smile and rushed to the car that was waiting outside.

The power couple made it to the penultimate performance of the show, that gave out the final presentation on Sunday night. Eyewitnesses confirmed that they arrived before the show started, but also left early, presumably to avoid the crowds.

They have even more bonding to do, as they are set to take to the road in a series of concerts across the country that will see them performing together on stage. The show is called “On the Run,” and it plays off the same “Bonnie & Clyde” theme they've used before to a high degree of success, since most of the shows are already sold out.

The first performance is set to be in Miami and will take place on June 25, by which date they have enough time to address all the divorce rumors and all the cheating gossip as well. In the last weeks, the only headlines about the couple talked about possible cheating partners, as the press has been busy pairing him up with singers, models and just about every other woman who crossed his path at one point or another.
