If you're looking for a safe and flexible way to keep your confidential data secured, then SymbianGuru offers you the Phone Wallet application. The software is compatible with the Symbian S60v3 operating system and uses strong data encryption algorithms to ensure that your confidential information is safe with your smartphone. There are two available versions that can be synchronized: one for PC and one for Mobile. You will also be able to back up all your data from your smartphone and keep it on your PC.

Phone Wallet requires a password to be set, so that your information cannot be accessed when your phone is lost or stolen. Bear in mind that if you forget this password you will not be able to access said information, as there's no way that it can be retrieved. After installing Phone Wallet you will be presented with a few predefined Folders, which contain records. You can customize this list by creating new folders, or by deleting or editing the existing ones. Inside every Folder there are Records, but new ones can also be created by simply clicking Options – New – Record and choosing the type of Record you want to create: Address, Agreements, Bank Account, Calling Card, Car Info, etc.

Every record that you make can have its own icon, which you can choose from a list that installs together with the application. Do not be afraid to make lots of records, as there is no number limit. All data registered is encrypted with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Also, an Autolock function was implemented, which means that the app gets automatically locked if you do not use it for a certain amount of time. Every once in a while you can choose to back up your data either in your phone's memory or on your memory card. If you have already downloaded the PC version you will be able to save all your encrypted database directly on your PC.
Phone Wallet can be acquired for 9.99USD, but a 10-day full-featured trial is also available for download. Note: You can easily follow my daily guides by subscribing to the RSS feed.
