Rumor has it that Apple will be releasing/announcing yet another goodie this Tuesday, in typical weekly fashion. What else could everyone be thinking of if not the release of the software development kit Apple has lined up for the iPhone/iPod touch? Well, there is one more thing: new MacBook Pros.

Ongoing rumors about Apple entering the video games market head-on have been circulating for weeks. Especially with the announcement that a software development kit (SDK) would be handed to developers so they work their magic with two of Apple's popular devices, the iPhone and the iPod touch. However, recent news have somewhat dismissed those rumors, revealing that the Cupertino-based corporation is sticking to 5 bucks-a-piece iTunes releases, as far as video games go.

But then, there's the MacBook thing too. Oh, how some love to speculate it's getting an upgrade, like a new trackpad perhaps...? No way! That rumor has also been taken down. But since we're on the multitouch topic, here's something that might just see the light of day sometime soon (if only in pictures), perhaps even tomorrow.

Ongoing research by Apple as far as multitouch tech goes has been the number one topic lately. Complete with rumors that MacBooks and MacBook Pros might also be getting smarter trackpads, mac-based websites everywhere have reported Apple's latest patent application revealing techniques for both palm and finger contact recognition, using a platform similar to Fingerworks' input devices.

Apple themselves describe the new tech saying that "identification and classification of intuitive hand configurations and motions" will enable users to experience "unprecedented integration of typing, resting, pointing, scrolling, 3D manipulation, and handwriting into a versatile, ergonomic computer input device."

They sure sound serious about it, so why shouldn't these descriptions materialize in the nearby future?

Still, all bets are on an iPhone announcement tomorrow, or even the Beta release of Apple's SDK. Which of the rumors do you think is to be confirmed?
