A handy utility which allows you to control your Mac’s fan speeds, monitor temperatures, and even find problems with the sensors in your Mac, Temperature Gauge Pro 1.8.1 is now available for download.

The tool was recently updated to patch some issues with temperatures logging as Celsius-only and a problem where HD temperatures would not be logged.

It also comes with an updated Paddle framework which allows developers to quickly add trial version / demo functionality to a Mac app, allowing instant activation via in-app purchase or existing license keys without having to contact Apple’s servers (the Mac App Store).

If you’re looking to give it a try, simply download Temperature Gauge Pro from Softpedia. You get a three-day trial limited to 30 minutes per launch, and the diagnostics tools disabled. The Startup feature is also unavailable in the free version. When and if you decide you like it, a user license is eight bucks American (€5.90).
