Keep Your Eyes Pealed for a Halo Anniversary Surprise

All Halo fans know that this week will mark the five-year anniversary of this Xbox game. Bungie's website promises some big surprises and maybe some announcements. Wouldn't it be cool if they released Halo 3 this week?

I know this is a long
shot as no exact release date for the third installment in the Halo series was announced. Sometime in 2007 they said, this could mean January, March of even December. All we know is that GameStop has opened the books for Halo 3 pre-orders. As of November 1, you can choose one of the three box versions of the game.

The web has been recently overflowing with news about Halo. Multiplayer details, single-player details for the game and even some turmoil regarding a big screen adaptation of the franchise. All in all, Microsoft are getting busy Halowise.

Is it that great of a game? All I can say about it is that it doesn't do it for me as it is the case of Luke Smith of 1up.com. He said some while ago that to him, Halo is what Mario is to others. First of all, don't mess with Mario, because Mario RULES! Second, Halo and Mario cannot be compared on any level, because Mario would win from a distance.
