The thefts of Baby Jesus or other elements from Christmas nativity scenes have become a very serious problem across the US, and for this reason, BrickHouse Security has decided to lend communities a helping hand and is providing free GPS trackers to churches and communities across North America.

As Christmas is approaching fast, nativity scenes are being set up in various locations from all over the worlds, drawing the attention of both honest on-lookers and not-so-honest burglars and thieves who're already thinking that they can make an easy buck by stealing parts of the respective setups (if not the entire scenes altogether). For this reason, year after year, BrickHouse Security has supported communities, desperate to put an end to the holiday havoc plaguing their nativity scenes. In an effort to deter holiday vandalism, BrickHouse launched its own free security solution, and religious institutions and nonprofits can enroll in a program designed specifically for their unique security needs. The eligible participants of the program will receive a Spark Nano GPS tracker along with remote access log-ins, and some even covert surveillance equipment. The GPS tracker is the latest device to feature motion-activated tracking, instantly sending alert notifications to participants via text messages and emails to their cell phones and computers. Last year's program was available to over 30 communities across North America, but this year, due to the large-scale success of BrickHouse Security's new GPS tracker rental offering, the program has been expanded to over 100 available units. “Not only is GPS tracking rental a success for people looking for a no-hassle, GPS tracking solution, but it's great that we were able to translate this success into a wider program, helping more people,” BrickHouse Security CEO Todd Morris says.

We can't help but admire the company's initiative, and hope that it will actually enable many communities enjoy a more peaceful Christmas this year.
