When singer Ke$ha checked herself into rehab to battle her eating disorder, nobody had an inkling that the whole media scandal would also be taking its toll on her family as well. Ke$ha's mother, Pebe Sebert, admitted that she would be entering the same rehab facility as her daughter in order to get over the post-traumatic stress issues she's suffering from.

She told People Magazine that “I'm checking myself into Timberline Knolls today for post-traumatic stress disorder, at Ke$ha's urging. This whole Dr. Luke thing has almost torn our family apart and taken over my life, and Ke$ha wants me to heal along with her.”

The mother has already spoken out in the media regarding her daughter's eating disorder and blamed her producer, Dr. Luke, of being the main reason Ke$ha had troubles in the first place. She told the press the producer called the 26-year-old singer a “refrigerator” and made her lose weight.

On January 3, Ke$ha entered rehab on a 30-day program to deal with her bulimia and anorexia. She also told friends that the man responsible for her eating disorders was producer Dr. Luke, a fact which he has since denied.

Ke$ha was reportedly suffering from alcohol and drug addiction, something she was also seeking treatment for while in rehab, the media speculated. Her “rock-chick” image has helped spark and maintain these rumors.

Her mother took the time to slam these rumors as unfounded. Sebert is herself a recovering alcoholic and former drug addict and said her daughter had nothing to do with either drugs or alcohol.

“Ke$ha's been going with me to AA meetings since she was just over a year old. She's never touch cocaine because that was one of my vices. She's always said she never wanted to do the same thing I did.”

Upon her entry in rehab, Ke$ha told her fans “I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am.”
