14 DAY TRIAL // Ke$ha was never one to fret much over what people say of her, and this is crystal clear from her latest tattoo, which she's showing off on her Twitter page. “Suck it,” it reads.
Having once declared herself a fan of DIY tattoos, the pop star turned to a professional for help with her latest piece, which she had done during a late night session at the Alchemy Tattoo Parlor in Sunset Boulevard.
It is the creation of tattoo artist Jule and it definitely has Ke$ha thrilled, even though it must have hurt a lot, from what one can imagine.
“New tatt!!!” she enthuses in a brief tweet accompanying the photo that you can also see attached to this article.
Most likely, the new piece falls in line with Ke$ha's life motto, that of always being true to herself and of always speaking her mind.
“People gravitate towards the party girl thing but in my expression of myself, from the way I dress to how I speak and act, I am trying to show that I want people to feel they can be themselves,” she said almost a year ago.
By acting as she feels like, without paying much attention to how her actions might be interpreted or the criticism she's getting for it, this is exactly what she's doing.
“I grew up in Nashville, which is very religious and conservative and not at all open-minded,” the pop star said in the same interview.
“I want to encourage kids to be themselves, feel free to express themselves and have their eccentricities encouraged who have lyrics in music that can be interpreted to have deeper meanings, but how deep can you dive into 'Brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack?'” Ke$ha added, referring to one of her most criticized lyrics.
According to reports online, Ke$ha has a total of 6 tattoos, two of which are homemade, on drunken nights partying with friends.
