A kayak angler was caught on video while getting spooked by a shark on what he thought would be his average fishing trip.

Fisherman Isaac Brumaghim was off the coast of Oahu aiming to reel in some tuna on Sunday, April 7. He was accompanied by a friend with whom he has joined the 2013 Makahiki World Championships.

He was trying to catch a tuna when he noticed that he wasn't the only one pulling the fish. According to Grind TV, the fish was taken away by a shark, described as either a tiger or Galapagos species.

As the video of the incident progresses, a second, smaller shark makes its appearance and both men have to battle it away.
