Katy Perry to Document Divorce on Next Album

Russell Brand filed for divorce from Katy Perry right before the New Year, while she was vacationing in Hawaii, admittedly so she could get away from the press. More details about the split will emerge once her next album is out.

Katy is known to include some details about her personal life in her music, since she's part of the writing team for her albums.

As such, it wouldn't be that far-fetched to assume she'd also write a couple of songs documenting her split from Russell.

In fact, she's already done that, The Sun reports. Her next album will offer a clear indication of what went wrong in the marriage, thus putting all speculation to rest.

“Ever since problems started to emerge, she penned her thoughts in a diary which she goes back to to draw upon for lyrics for her songs,” an unnamed source tells the tab.

“She has always said that writing is almost a form of therapy for her and she would often be found in her dressing room on tour writing in her diary,” adds the insider.

As she spent Christmas apart from Russell, before he filed for divorce, she was venting on paper, the tipster explains.

“She spent a lot of time in Hawaii over Christmas writing lyrics to two of her latest tracks,” the spy is quoted as saying.

Reports online about what went wrong in the marriage claim they realized shortly after the wedding that they were too different for the relationship to work.

Moreover, the fact that Brand was more of a homebody but Katy always wanted to go out also put strain on the relationship, it is being claimed.

Some voices even claim they were a bad match in bed and it eventually put a damper on their romance.

Neither Russell nor Katy has tackled any of these rumors. Chances of them ever doing so are close to none – that is, unless she is really writing about the split for her next album.
