14 DAY TRIAL // Somebody better stop the presses! Katy Perry, the singer who's very much in vogue right now and very much in love with her new beau John Mayer, has some very big plans for the beginning of 2014. At least that's what Life & Style Magazine
claims.
According to their world exclusive, the “Roar” singer and her singer boyfriend are planning a secret wedding in Hawaii. And since secrets are best kept by a small number of people, they are said to have only invited a dozen of their families and closest friends.
The tip comes from an insider who is quoted as saying, “John and Katy flew about 12 of their closest friends to Hawaii. They wanted it to be very special, so they flew them on a private plane.” In the insider's opinion, it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if the couple announce their nuptials.
Katy is said to be smitten with her lover, which would explain why she chose to do that awful country song with him and the even more awful video of them riding a mechanical bull in slow motion. Critics are still trying to break the code on that.
“I am so madly in love with him. He's got a beautiful mind,” Katy confided to her friends, who then spilled the beans to the magazine.
Now John isn't one to hide his feelings either. He keeps telling everyone willing to lend him an ear that “Katy is going to be his wife,” as per the same insider who looks to be a confidant for both members of this relation.
Fanning these marriage rumors are also Katy's friends, who say that John has been asking them questions about what kind of ring she would like and what would be the best way to propose.
It has to be mentioned that the couple, which today seems to be madly in love, have been on at least one hiatus in June, when they took some time for themselves. Now, since they've been back together, they seem to have stumbled across some very potent love potion that makes them crazy about one another.
Incidentally, the couple's new song “Who You Love” is currently being blasted by all radio stations across the world and is being touted as a ballad of “true love.” Perry and Mayer just can't seem to get enough of each other ever since the song came out.
Last year, Katy Perry went through a bitter divorce from British comedian Russell Brand, which could explain why she's throwing herself head-first into this relation.
