It’s a huge opportunity for her and she plans to use it to shame one of her biggest rivals as well.
As per the latest report in Hollywood Life, Katy wants to do her best to deliver the most amazing Halftime performance possible, but she’s also plotting a way to shame rival Taylor Swift with it.

Katy wants to show “she is the biggest female act” in the world
Taylor and Katy have been feuding for some time now, after falling out over backup dancers – several of whom Katy hired from under Taylor when she was in the middle of a tour, thus leaving her in a major predicament.
Taylor never forgave Katy, and in between severing all contact with her former BFF, she also wrote “Bad Blood” about her, and revealed that the disappointment was bigger because she really thought the lady friend (she didn’t name Katy) would never attack her professionally like that.
According to sources, Taylor had better be bracing for even more disappointment, because Katy is cooking up something for the Super Bowl, something that would shame her (Taylor) and prove that she (Katy) is “the biggest female act” in the world.
Apparently, Katy is so determined to do that after Taylor pretty much owned 2014 with her best-selling album “1989.”
Making a statement
With less than a month to go until the big event, Katy is in full “rehearsal mode.” Considering she has to live up to expectations set by amazing performances from Beyonce, Madonna or Bruno Mars in previous years, no wonder she’s feeling the pressure.
But she also has another thing on her mind, says one spy.
“She wants to make a statement with her performance and show that she is the biggest female act in the world and she wants to show that to everyone including Taylor, who she has a feud with. In Katy’s eyes, no one can compete on her level. Katy will be doing something on stage during her performance that will be directed towards Taylor. She is working on it to be a visual or a lyric related jab,” the tipster explains.
If this is true, Katy had better make the jab mildly obvious, just in case the world misses it: Super Bowl Halftime performances are usually very complex, featuring lots of choreography and light shows, so she wouldn’t want people to get sidetracked and completely overlook the Taylor Swift diss.
