14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian got the most coverage ever at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, where she not only debuted a brand new, very surprising ‘do when she showed up platinum blonde, but also plenty of eye-catching and very revealing outfits.
Husband Kanye West probably loved all of them since he is said to have hand-picked them himself, but pretty much no one else did. That includes Katy Perry, according to a report in Hollywood Life.
Katy got ambushed at Givenchy, wanted to run away from Kim Kardashian
Attached to this article is a photo of Katy Perry, Kim and Kanye at the Givenchy show. Both women are rocking a certain goth vibe because they were wearing items from the latest collection from the fashion house, but while Katy’s outfit was actually flattering, Kim’s was anything but.
She was wearing a very tight and very low cut jumpsuit, with her ample cleavage and even ampler backside in full view. It’s not that the outfit was this revealing that got her harsh criticism from fashion gurus, but rather the fact that it was overall unflattering and in rather poor taste, cheap-looking.
This is what every other celebrity at the show thought, Katy included. She hated it when she saw Kim and Kanye move towards her, because she knew it would mean she’d have to sit for pictures with them and the thought “mortified” her, says a spy.
“Kim was in one of her [breast] exposing outfits and you could tell Katy wanted to get away. Katy has worn revealing outfits in the past but even she thinks that Kim is not dressing appropriately for Paris Fashion Week,” the insider explains.
No one appreciated Kim’s “edgy” style
In Kanye and Kim’s mind, her outfits at Paris Fashion Week were very edgy and high fashion, perhaps even the height of sophistication. As the rapper says in one of his newest songs, the one who leaked the other day, called “Awesome,” he and his wife are just that: awesome in everything, multiplied by a gazillion times.
Kim is also our modern-day Marilyn Monroe, a sophisticated woman, a fashion icon, a trend setter and an A-lister, also per Kanye.
The aforementioned e-zine claims that, during PFW, he was the only one to think that, because no other celebrity thought Kim had any business at such a fashionable event. Salma Hayek and Kristen Stewart also attended the Givenchy show, the report adds, and they couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw Kim’s ridiculous and revealing getup.
