Gaga previously accused the singer of copying her style so Katy hits back

The feud is back on. Katy Perry decided to fight fire with fire and launched an all-out attack on Lady Gaga, who had made some indirect accusations on Twitter and had aimed them at her general direction, without giving any names. Perry's response to Gaga's accusations that she was stealing bits of her show for her own performances was swift: she parodied Gaga's famous vomit act.

In her latest “Prismatic” concert, Katy chose to play in the background a short video with her which involved some throwing up of colored dyes, as well as lots of paint flying around. Those who have seen Gaga's controversial vomit performance can attest to the fact that Perry is straight-up throwing the gauntlet in Gaga's face.

The video is probably played during an interlude in Katy's performance, in which she's either changing her clothes or getting ready for her next song. But the idea is that now Perry is giving Gaga a real reason to cry about after the Mother Monster complained on Twitter that “It looks like green hair and mechanical horses are the thing now” and accompanied her tweet with a set of rolling eyes.

This meant in few words that Perry stole Gaga's vomit-green hair color, and the mechanical horse idea she used to make an entrance at some point. Of course, the claim was ludicrous since Gaga makes so many style changes in an effort to keep herself relevant that it's hard not to cross paths with her.

However, the vomit performance is a clear slap in the face since no one thought about integrating that into the pop scene until Lady Gaga and her outrageous nature. It will be interesting to see if Katy is going to catch flack for this, since Gaga made some people very angry with her own regurgitating performance which many saw glamorizing bulimia.

But Katy is probably going to be on the safe side, since her performance is made to look oddly colorful and entertaining, whereas Gaga's was disturbing and dark. Fans at the performance seemed to enjoy it and if anyone picked up on the similarity between this and Gaga's concert, then they kept their mouth shut.

Now, all we have to do is wait and see what Lady Gaga will make of this and how she will choose to address the issue of having her original idea stolen by a direct competitor to the title of most notorious figure in pop music.
