Katy Perry Releases Trailer for New Video, 'The One That Got Away'

“In another life, I would do things differently,” Katy Perry says in voiceover in the official “trailer” for her upcoming video, for “The One That Got Away.” Without a doubt, it will be her artiest yet.

In preparation for the release of a brand new video, the pop has debuted a “trailer” for it – or what others would call a preview, a teaser.

It hints that this will be Katy's artiest video to date: fans may have come to know and love her for the pure pop image she's been projecting so far, so they'd better get ready for something serious as well.

The clip shows Katy with her boyfriend, clearly “the one that got away,” who seems to be a painter. They're living an enchanted life – but one that will soon be marred by fighting.

“I wish, for one day, I could go back,” Katy says in voiceover. Clearly, the romance is over.
