After starting a world tour, a music label and also going on vacation, Katy Perry finds the time to pose for a shot with Hillary Clinton, who many think has a legitimate shot at winning the upcoming presidential elections.
This is also what Katy is hinting at, mentioning in the caption for her photo that she is willing to write and perform a “theme song” for Hillary's campaign, seemingly oblivious to the fact that Clinton hasn't yet announced her intention to run for office.
The photo was taken on Thursday, June 19, when the singer and the ex-secretary of state met at a shopping center in Los Angeles where Clinton was having a book signing reception. Perry gushed “I told @hillaryclinton that I would write her a ‘theme’ song if she needs it.”
Fans were excited at the prospect, with several commenting on the photo that it was a good idea that should be put into practice. Now, if only someone could convince Hillary to run for office again...
