Katy Perry is finally ready to close the Russell Brand chapter in her life by selling the Beverly Hills mansion they bought together, thinking they would renovate it and then move in it together. It’s now listed publicly for $6.925 million (€5.295 million).

Real estate site Zillow, which also confirms that the villa is now listed publicly, notes that Perry has been trying to sell it “quietly” for some time now.

She and new hubby Russell Brand bought in June 2011 for $6.5 million (€4.9 million). They were married in October 2010 and were getting ready to start life as a family.

They wanted to redo it before moving in but they never got that far: 6 months later, Brand had filed for divorce and their short-lived but highly mediated romance was dead in the water.

As Zillow points out, neither of them actually ever lived there.

“Besides the celebrity ownership, the 3-acre estate has quite a bit going for it. Built in 1921, the home is near the Chateau Marmont and Frank Lloyd Wright’s famed Storer House,” the same media outlet adds.

“Perry’s 2-story property is gated and private, with 8,835 square feet of living space, 7 bedrooms and 11 baths. The property also includes two guest houses, a carriage house and the ubiquitous celebrity-style pool with waterfall,” Zillow adds.

It also writes that this isn’t the only piece of real estate Katy and Russell share: apparently, they’re also co-owners of a New York City apartment that’s been listed for years. No details are available on it.

After they got divorced, both Katy and Russell started dating other people in a matter of months. Her most recent relationship (and breakup) was with singer John Mayer, while he went out with a string of beautiful but not famous ladies.
