14 DAY TRIAL // Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have begun an open feud some while ago and it's beginning to shape up into something more than a media war. Taylor accused Katy (though not by name) of sabotaging her tour when she took away some of her dancers. Now Katy is hitting back.
Hollywoodlife claims that Katy just went out with Harry Styles, the singer from OneDirection, and this was done only to diss Taylor, who is known to have been dumped by the singer and is reported to still have feelings for him.

Katy and Taylor already have one ex-boyfriend in common, John Mayer, and some have speculated that it's because of him that their feud began in the first place. Taylor was the first to date Mayer, but by the time he was dating Perry, she was badmouthing him in songs. Which is why Katy began badmouthing Swift around town and tried to allegedly sabotage her.
Now Katy, who has since moved on from John Mayer, is said to have taken to one of Taylor's other former exes, singer Harry Styles, who is very much in demand these days. Katy and Harry were seen dining at the Nobu in Malibu, and Katy made sure that word got out of their date.
Katy also made sure she was spotted with Harry so that it would make the news and Taylor would find out
“Yes, Katy Perry and Harry Styles had dinner together at Nobu in Malibu late Thursday night. Just the two of them. They seemed happy, smiling and enjoying their dinner and conversation. They arrived separately and left separately. They looked like good friends and did a lot of talking,” claims one eyewitness.
Taylor and Harry used to date for a short while in 2012, but they split around the holidays. Knowing Taylor, it wasn't long before she was writing songs about Harry, smearing him in her lyrics. Apart from her disses, Taylor also took to publicly humiliate the singer during a Grammys performance soon after their split.
The date is said to be Katy's move on Taylor, her response to the song “Bad Blood” which is believed to be aimed at Katy. Soon after Rolling Stone interview came out, Katy took to Twitter to warn her fans to “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing,” referring to the famous “Mean Girls” character, known for her duplicitous nature.
It's not known if Taylor still has feelings for Harry, but if she chooses to respond to Katy's date, it will be certain that she harbors some resentment for her past love and their badly-ended affair.
