14 DAY TRIAL // Not letting herself be sucked into the whole Golden Globes hoopla, singer Katy Perry decided to post a very interesting photo of herself from her recent trip to China.
In a move reminiscent of the recently successful Van Damme epic splits ad, Katy did her own gymnastics move on the Great Wall of China. The “Roar” singer spent the weekend in China, for a show she did, but she also appears to have taken some time off to visit one of the country's greatest landmarks.
Poking fun at the Golden Globes, Katy captioned her picture on Instagram with “#bestdressed” and “#goldenglobes.” She was dressed in plain clothes to match the cold Chinese weather, but she did take care to photograph herself wearing a traditional cone-shaped straw hat.
The singer is currently enjoying a huge success with her most recent song, “Dark Horse,” a collaboration with Juicy J. The track has landed on the top of the US iTunes download chart. This sparked a comment from the singer on Twitter: “What an unexpected, lovely surprise!”
