14 DAY TRIAL // Katy Perry’s live performances can sometimes be a hit and miss, but she came out in force and delivered in style the other night on the live results show of X Factor UK, the 2013 edition.
Above is the video of her performance and, while it’s not top quality, it’s enough to confirm that she really did do her best.
Katy got all dressed up like a big cat for the gig, in keeping with the jungle time of the single’s official music video. However, for the better part of the performance, she made a contrasting note with the backup dancers, who were all wearing business suits, hats, face masks, and suitcases.
Towards the end though, they ripped off their clothes to show colorful bodysuits, similar to what Katy was wearing.
Asked by the X Factor host whether she’d ever consider becoming a judge on the show, Katy said she’d be thrilled. I imagine she was referring to the UK version, on which she has already guest-judged.
Speaking of which, did you know she was the one to let Niall Horan through? “I like that I let Niall through. He's now in a little band called One Direction!” Katy gloated.
