Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for comedian Katt Williams, this happens: Williams has been arrested and is now in custody for alleged child endangerment, it has emerged. The star was arrested a few hours ago and, at the time this came out, was still in police custody, with bail set at $100,000 (€75,631).

TMZ reports.
“LAPD cops picked Katt up at his Woodland Hills home this morning, after an investigation from the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services concluded there were numerous guns and illegal drugs in the house that created a safety hazard for the kids,” the celebrity publication says.
“Our sources say during the arrest various items were seized. Katt is still in custody, being held on $100,000 bail. As for the kids, authorities have placed them in protective custody,” the same report says.
The case will go to the DA next week and could possibly result in a felony charge for the comedian.
Just yesterday, word got out that the IRS has slapped him with a
lien of $4 million (€3 million) for failing to pay his taxes as far back as 2008.
Before that, Williams was involved in several odd incidents, including two other arrests and two possible assaults: he slapped a Target employee apparently without provocation and threw a lit cigarette inside a car, hitting a woman in the face.
Williams was also named in
a class action suit filed by his own fans, after they paid a small fortune to see him live but he started a fight with a heckler minutes into it, and then stormed off the stage.
Also recently, he announced he was retiring, only to un-retire days later.
Because of all these, many believe Williams may be abusing drugs and / or alcohol.
