I hope you have November 21 marked down on your calendar, because that’s when we’ll finally catch up again with Katniss Everdeen, the unwilling hero from “The Hunger Games” movie franchise, with a new installment, “Mockingjay Part 1.”

The third film in the franchise (and the one before the last), “Mockingjay Part 1” picks up right after Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) wakes up after being airlifted from the Hunger Games Arena and she finds out that she’s in District 13, the one she (and the rest of Panem) thought had been destroyed years before.

With her is Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), but not Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), who had been her partner in the Arena. She thinks Peeta is dead.

Lionsgate has released a new video to promote the film showing Katniss’ shocked reaction when she finds out that Peeta wasn’t killed by the Capitol after her escape: he was taken in and turned against her.

Whether he’s a pawn used by the Capitol and President Snow to stop the rebellion, or he’s only playing along because he’s in fear of his life, we’ll see when the movie opens.

In the meantime, here’s Katniss’ understandably shocked reaction, as revealed on Good Morning America in this new clip.

“Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” also stars Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland and Woody Harrelson. The entire film franchise is based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novels of the same name.
