Katie Price and Peter Andre to Hold Crisis Meeting

Katie Price, formerly known as glamour model Jordan, and husband Peter Andre announced their split last week, thus putting an end to one of the most mediated celebrity marriages in the UK. Since then, reports have it, the two have not spoken to each other, presumably because Andre is too upset over Katie’s infidelities to ever want to see her again. According to the Daily Mail, that is about to change this week.

Sources close to the couple are telling the British tabloids that the two have finally managed to talk calmly on the phone and agree on a crisis meeting, whose sole purpose will be that of discussing the custody of the three children they have together (Harvey, although not fathered by Peter Andre, has always been like a son to him). As a matter of fact, Peter even let Katie know that the only reason he was doing this was “for the sake of the kids, not you.”

The crisis talk will reportedly take place on Thursday and, hopefully, it will help the two decide on what’s best as regards Harvey (7), Junior (3) and Princess Tiaami (1). Although they are now at each other’s throat and clearly determined not to work things out – which would mean that the “divorce farce” theory the media has been speaking of does not hold water –, both Andre and Price are said to be willing to put all hostilities aside and try to be civil to each other for the children.

Until they do meet, though, they will continue to keep their distance, Peter Andre trying to grasp the harsh reality of divorce next to his family in Cyprus, while Katie Price has reportedly returned to the Maldives, where she and Peter spent their honeymoon. Neither has made any “official” comment yet as to what might have prompted what seemed like a very harsh and sudden decision to put an end to their marriage, except for Katie, who took to her Twitter page to let fans know she was, for once, keeping mum on the subject because she was too devastated.

“I’m still keeping a dignified silence. I have made no comments, they are made up. I’m heartbroken. I never wanted any of this. We all miss Pete.” Katie wrote on her Twitter page the other day.
