Katie Price Slams Peter Andre for Imminent Custody Battle

Initial reports had it that the divorce announcement coming from British glamour model Katie Price (formerly known as Jordan) and one-time pop star Peter Andre was nothing short of a publicity stunt meant to bring them back in the headlines. As weeks passed and no reconciliation was in sight, it became somewhat clearer that the separation was the real deal. Now, News of the World is reporting that Price is literally fuming over Peter Andre’s recent decision to ask for sole custody and have the children move with him to the US.

Andre is currently preparing to re-launch his music career, with the first single off his new album to drop at the beginning of August. After spending plenty of time with the two children he has with Price and the boy she has from a previous relationship, and seeing her antics in Ibiza last month, it has become clear for him that he must ask for sole custody, the British tab says citing unnamed but reportedly reliable sources. Understandably, Katie Price is none too happy about it, as she recently told a friend.

“You’re the lowest of the low and I can’t even believe I ever married you. To want to take babies away from their mother is sick! Sick is exactly what you are. People have got into your head. It’s unbelievable how you’ve changed.” the model reportedly told a friend during a recent public outing, as if speaking face to face with her estranged husband. What’s more, says News of the World based on the same unnamed source, Price is actually convinced Andre stands a good chance at getting sole custody, and the very thought of losing her children is driving her mad.

“The priority has become sorting an arrangement with the kids. It’s the hot-button issue now. Pete wants them. Kate’ll do anything to stop him getting them. All of a sudden she’s less concerned about him taking any money. The battle lines have changed. Kate is petrified about losing her kids, she’s terrified about losing her career – but most of all she’s overwhelmed by loss because she always thought Pete would come back to her in the end.” a close friend of the model says for the tab.

As the media continues to take Peter Andre’s side in the divorce proceedings and the ongoing custody battle, Katie Price has resorted to tarnishing his image to make herself look good, the same insiders reveal. In order to do so, she has started spreading rumors as to how Andre is using the kids as props for paid-for and pre-arranged photo ops to get media attention and ultimately use it to launch his music career. Moving to the US with the children would serve the same purpose, Price believes, as per the spy’s words.
