Katie Price, once known as glamour model Jordan, has tried her hand at almost everything there is: modeling (obviously), some acting, fashion and being an author. She’s not a stranger to music either, even coming out with an album with duets with her former husband. This time, she’s looking to make it on her own, Metro informs.

As of now, details as to whether Price will be releasing a full album are not yet known but what is certain is that she’ll be coming out with a brand new single. Moreover, her fans won’t even have to wait that long to learn what she’s been working on in recent weeks, for the new single is expected to drop no later than next month, as Katie herself announced on her Twitter.

“According to the 32-year-old, the world can look forward to her warbling in July and the song is almost in the bag. ‘I can at last reveal my first solo single is out Monday 12 July. I love the tune and hope you guys do too xxx,’ she tweeted. The artist previously known as Jordan released cheesy ballad ‘A Whole New World’ with ex-hubby Peter Andre in 2006 – the accompanying album reached number 20 in the UK album charts,” Metro says.

It could very well be that Price is hoping that third time is a charm, since her previous two attempts at launching a music career were less than successful. In fact, she got such harsh criticism for them that she even said herself that trying out for Eurovision in 2005, when she believed she could have represented England in the popular singing competition, was among the biggest professional mistakes she’d ever made.

No word yet on whether there will be a full album as well. Still, knowing Katie and given that she recorded the song without too much fuss (a very unusual thing for her, for that matter), chances are she might be holding off from making an announcement about an album until she sees how her single fares in the charts and with audiences.
