14 DAY TRIAL // Though she’s been through a rather nasty divorce just months ago and despite claims that she would wait for a while until getting into this kind of commitment again, Katie Price has already decided to say her I Do to cagefighter boyfriend Alex Reid. Not only that, but she has also set her heart on having the ceremony this year and not later, the Daily Mail informs.
In November, Katie broke it off with Reid, whom she’d been dating since July ’09, as he flew to Australia to surprise her by proposing on live television. The model, though, told him it couldn’t be since marriage was not in the cards for her so soon after her divorce was finalized. Later on, they got back together and, it would seem, Reid’s recent stint on Celebrity Big Brother, the last season ever to air, convinced Price that he was the one and only, as the saying goes.
“It’s a huge turnaround from a few months ago but now Katie has decided her future does lie with Alex. He was a big – and surprise – success on Celebrity Big Brother. Katie had her doubts as to how she would react to him on a reality TV show but she found that it actually made her fonder of him. Now she wants to tell the world she is going to marry Alex. And she doesn’t want to wait too long to wed. She wants to do it this year,” an unnamed but reportedly reliable tipster says for the Mail.
Of course, photos of the wedding will appear in a celebrity magazine – for the right price, the same source goes on to say. Coming to prove that things are finally heading in the right direction, Reid too is telling the tabloid media that he’s finally mustered the courage to propose to Price for the second time, only that, now, he’s certain she will not be saying no, especially after the welcome she gave him after he left the Big Brother house.
“I’ve got lots of plans but I’m going to keep them a mystery. You’ll have to keep guessing,” Reid told Star magazine, as per the Mail. “I’ve completely realized how fantastic she is. How generous and kind she is, and how much I fancy her. She is just the perfect woman for me,” he added.
