Katie Price Paid £350,000 to Return to Jungle in I’m a Celebrity

The first time that Katie Price appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here she was still going by the name of Jordan, had blonde hair and had not yet met her now ex-husband Peter Andre. That happened in 2004. Now, five years later, Price is asking for and has been offered £350,000 to return to the Australian jungle for the reality show, as the Telegraph can confirm.

However, before she goes to camp and shooting starts, Price still has some other issues to attend to. For starters, she will do a few shows in the US, presumably to talk about the one topic that has gotten the attention of all media outlets around the world, her divorce from Peter Andre, and then she’ll need some time to get her hair done. Only after that will she be ready to go into complete isolation from the outside world for the I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here show.

“The glamour model was photographed as she made her way through Heathrow airport within hours of some of the other I’m a Celebrity contestants on Tuesday night. The 31-year-old will also arrive a week late to the show while the other celebrities, who will be paid around £65,000 each, will have to endure three weeks in camp. Price left Britain yesterday to fly to Los Angeles for work commitments on the first leg of her journey to Australia.” the Telegraph writes.

“Price will compete against another ex-Page 3 model on the show, former 1980s Page 3 star Sam Fox. Also appearing is former EastEnders actress Lucy Benjamin, 39, who checked in for an unknown destination. […] How Clean Is Your House? star Kim Woodburn, 67, also flew to Australia on Tuesday afternoon. Also joining the line-up are Strictly dancer Camilla Dallerup, 35, former Scots footballer Colin Hendry, 44, and ex-Misteeq singer Sabrina Washington, 31.” the same publication says of the other contestants appearing on the show.

Officially, Katie Price has said nothing yet of her involvement in the upcoming season of the reality show. However, speculation about it began to make the rounds a few days ago, with many British tabs already saying Price was asking for more money than the other contestants – however, what they didn’t know at the time was that she would actually get five times their paycheck.
