14 DAY TRIAL // Hearing Victoria Beckham saying she stands for the average woman is confirmation that she had too much California sun and it's making her senile, Katie Price, her longtime nemesis says in her column in The Sun.
Her comments come after Victoria's interview with the British version of Harper's Bazaar, in which she says she'd rather not use size 0 girls to model her clothes because she does that instead – and better, too.
In her mind, Victoria Beckham “stands for the general public.”
Katie Price laughs at the suggestion and even calls her longtime nemesis delusional for going on the record with such remarks.
“I think all this Californian sunshine is sending Posh senile because she is a size 6,” Price, once known solely as Jordan, Britain's most famous glamor girl export, says.
“And if she had read the papers this week she would know that the general public like eating pasties and the average British woman is a size 16,” Katie further says.
The same goes for Victoria's suggestion that she designs clothes for the masses: she's delusional. Women can't wear her dresses and it's not just because of their tiny size.
“They can't afford Posh's £1,000 [$1,605.7 / €1,202.2] dresses let alone fit into them,” the former glamor girl says.
Indeed, that was probably the reaction of many a woman when they saw Beckham's comments. Several British media outlets even rushed to call her on it, but Price is the first celebrity to do so.
“We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever and then I say 'OK, I’m going to put it on. I stand for the general public here',” Victoria said, as we also reported at the time.
Victoria has always been slender but, as celebrity lovers must know, at the onset of her career in showbiz, she was actually curvy.
Because of this, she's been plagued by eating disorder rumors for most of her adult life. At best, reports say she only eats steamed vegetables and lean grilled fish.
Either way, she is anything but representative of the average woman.
